"A Glass" Poster: A Cubist Masterpiece by Pablo Picasso
Pablo Picasso's "A Glass" (or Verre) is a quintessential example of Synthetic Cubism, a revolutionary style he co-invented with Georges Braque. Created around 1914, this work deconstructs a simple glass into geometric planes, flattened perspectives, and fragmented forms. As a forerunner of modern art, Picasso transformed everyday objects into profound meditations on perception and reality – a hallmark of his enduring genius.
Our museum-quality reproduction captures every nuance of the original, from the interplay of light and shadow to the subtle textures of the paper collage elements. Printed on our Master's Edition archival paper, this fine art print brings the intellectual rigor and aesthetic beauty of Picasso's Cubism into your space.
